Leaving Adelaide this Sunday

It's time to leave Adelaide, we are heading off tomorrow towards Murray Bridge (Sunday Country music dance) & then onto Tailem Bend for overnite camp. Making our way along the coast to Kingston SE, Robe, Bridgeport & Mt Gambier. Then its along the Great Ocean Rd to Drysdale (Victoria). We have a 3 weeks housesit there (near Geelong). After that we are heading up to Lake Boga (near Swan Hill, on Murray river) for 14 weeks. The owners are off to Canada & that will get us through winter.

It's time to leave SA have been here for almost a year & we have covered most of it. It will be sad to leave, as we have made some lovely new friends + leaving the old ones (especially Colin while he is not well) but he always seems to bounce back & has a happy outlook on life, despite all his health problems

Colin enjoying a Chinese meal, before he went into hospital the next day. On Thursday this week Colin had a plate put in top of his right leg, which has been giving him a lot of pain over last few weeks, looks like it was a hairline fracture that needed to be stabilised.

Adelaide brick works markets. They have been given 28 days to get out, they have been trading there for 25 years. Woolworths have bought the site & done the dirty on all the traders!!!!

One last visit to my friend Colin who is still in hospital.  While we were waiting for the bus to take us back to Marleston, we saw this helicopter landing on roof of Royal Adelaide hospital

Bob & I will hang around Adelaide till early next week, as Col has an old cat "Buddy" that needs looking after.
