We continued on around the coastline from Troubridge hill via Kemp bay & Port Moorowie & onto Yorketown
Yorketown 225kms from Adelaide & at the junction of 5 roads leading to towns all the same distance away
Main street of Yorketown on a Sunday morning !!!
Up until the early 1900's one of Yorketown's old engineering shops was making windmills of it's own design, which were seen on plenty of farms locally & even in other parts of OZ. This one has been restored by local Historical society

Troubridge hill lighthouse
Wattle Point wind farm 56 turbines on the skyline
We set our trusty GPS co-ordinates & headed off along the gravel road following the coastline, looking for a campsite in our Camps 6 Australia book
Couldn't find the campsite, so spent the night on clifftop. Just us, the wind & sea, not a person in cooee!!!!
Beautiful sunset
Wool bay
Spent a few days in & around Ardrossan, waiting for our mail to catch up with us
Stairs carved into the side of the cliff face
Continued driving south along the coastline to small seaside village of Wool bay, 224kms from Adelaide
This historic Lime kiln was dug into the cliffs above the jetty, a relic of the districts once important lime burning industry
Ooooops I think their bogged in sand!!!!

Ardrossan - Yorke peninsula
We spent couple days back @ Parham after NYE, must say a couple of hot sweltering 41 degrees, just lay around on our banana lounges with a wet towel on our heads to keep cool !!
Ardrossan is 148kms from Adelaide on east coast of Yorke peninsula.
The town is situated on top of imposing red cliffs.
Onesteel Dolomite open cut mine
Bob sitting on "Stump Jump plough" that was invented by a local farmer (by accident) that was able to plough a paddock & jump the mallee stumps
The sun is out but it is blowing a gale for last 2 days.
