New Year's Eve

New Year's eve was spent dancing the night away @ Munno Parra bowling club, near Gawler. The band "Kindred Spirit" played some great music & the lady singer could certainly belt out a song, considering her age NO SPRING CHICKEN!!!

Xmas in Rundle Mall - Adelaide

Arrived @ Colins place in Adelaide in late afternoon & parked the van. Ray came & collected us as we are going to stay with him for a few days over Xmas. Col's not well enough to have visitors, but will leave the van here.

Caught the bus into town from Rays place in Mile End, only took 5 minutes very convenient to city.

Lovely old carousel in full swing in the mall

Jetty pylons are all that remains of this coastal village's early days as a grain port

We had a nice surprise when we got back to van after buying some fish & chips from the "Star of Greece" take away. Council ranger had been around & gave us a parking fine, for not parking in the correct manner!!!

Star of Greece was a three masted iron cargo ship that was wrecked here in 1888
