Seal Bay Conservation park

This is the last tour on our KI pass, to walk on beach with the Seal Lions

It is still cold & bleak & very windy

The colony has approximately 1600 seals, along a 5 kms stretch of beaches. They are born on this beach & apart from swimming out to feed, they live their whole life on this beach

During the colder months they move up into the sand dunes for protection from the winter winds. They have been seen at the information centre, which is about 1km or so inland & up a large sand dune!!!
