Out & About in Mt Gambier

Bikes off the van & time to explore Mt Gambier. We are in caravan park couple blocks from city, so makes it nice & easy to get around & see what this city has to offer. it's bigger than I thought, so lots to see & do.  Weather is nice & great for sightseeing

Tribute to all the settlers from all over the world, that made this city what it is today

Right in the heart of the city is "The cave garden" a limestone cave that has been turned into a garden.  It was used as the original source of water supply for early settlers & is still a central meeting & picnic place renowned for its famous rose garden

This lovely marble fountain was donated to city by Sir Robert Helpman (ballet dancer from years gone by)   Grandfather
