"Bay Wave" project was developed from an idea by the Port MacDonnell Tourist Assoc & funded
by their own efforts along with grants etc.
The Bay Wave was brought to life by Ivo Tadic, a renowned sculpture from Mt Gambier.
Made from linestone it weighs around 50 tons & contains enough limestone to build an entire medium sized house.
The original block of stone was the largest to leave the Stafford & Earl quarry & it took 10 days to cut & prepare the stone for removal
