Portland is the birthplace of Victoria. Established in 1834 by Edward Henty, the town was Victoria's first permanent European settlement. In 1850's & 1860's saw most of Portland beautiful historic buildings constructed.
Another ride around town on our bikes brought us to this lovely lighthouse on headland overlooking the working harbour
