The small coastal township of Southend was the first seaport in the Limestone coast. First known as Grey town (named after Governor Grey) in 1846, between 1875 - 1879 it was known as Rivoli Bay South & then changed back to Grey town until 1979, when it was officially named Southend. It is now a working crayfish port & holiday village. Few houses, General store, caravan park & bush camp. We spent one night in the National park campsite & one in caravan park.
